Hawaii Part Deux: Oahu

One week in Oahu is never enough time. We made it to a lot of our favorite places; Diamond Head, Duke's on the ocean, Roy's, Waimanalo Beach, the North Shore and the Hale Koa (where we were engaged) were a few favorable spots. In total we took around 2500 pictures collectively between the Wilson bunch (haven't tallied the Hanson's collection yet). I only have about 500 posted at this point. Oahu has around 350. Enjoy!

So you're telling me the signs were there for a reason...

There WERE signs out warning us about the Portugese Man of War in the ocean. The lifegaurds put out the signs when the waters are flooded with them (they come with the full moon cycle). We ran right past them since we had been to that beach several times before WITH the signs and had no problems. I even pointed one out swimming by us and remarked that we shouldn't tell Mark we saw one or else he wouldn't get in the water. Dan and I kept our mouths shut. For the time being.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to pee on Mark or Dan. The lifeguard station had some vinegar spray...dang!

We loved Maui but were anxious to get to Oahu to see our old stomping grounds from our '05 trip.
